[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Can't add Top Container from Instances

Brad,

I tested this on our local development installation of 1.51. and couldn’t replicate the issue. I tested it with a resource record/archival component.

I’d be interested in hearing if others could.

Hi, Cheri,

http://test.archivesspace.org/ is a version of ASpace online available for testing. You can log on using the “admin” / “admin” credential pair.

I was not able to replicate there your report as I understood it. I was asking if you could replicate it there.

Basically, I am trying to determine if the problem you report is local or general.

Please let us know.

Brad

Hi Brad,

I'm not sure what you mean... but either way, I couldn't access test.archivesspace.org<http://test.archivesspace.org>. Can you explain a little more?

Thanks,
Cheri

I've created container profiles for our repository, but when I attempt to create an a top container within an instance for an archival object, AS won't allow me to access the container profiles (i.e., nothing happens when I select browse). I figured I could get around this by just creating a new profile from the same menu, but that too does nothing. I noticed that the drop-down arrow for the container profile field is on the left side of the field, which might be a sign that something is amiss.
