Hi Phil,
We keep ours in archivesspace/data. Our experience has been that if we don’t include the /data subdirectory explicitly in the config.rb file it causes problems. -k

Subject: [Archivesspace_Users_Group] Data_directory in Config File
Good afternoon,
Where do most people place the “:data_directory” in the config.rb file? It seems like placing it in the “File.join(Dir.home, “archivesspace”) throws this in my “home” user folder on the server.
It seems like if I place it elsewhere the indexer_state folder does not get created correctly, etc.
Thanks for any best practices or advice,
Phil
