Hi Nicole,
ArchivesSpace has UTF-8 support, so everything ( in theory ) should be fine in regards to character encoding. However, there are some cases where bugs have popped up..but just let us know when that happens.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the drop-down option you're referring to. Can you explain it?

Hi all,
We just received a collection that includes a lot of material in Spanish. Do any of you have experience with how ASpace handles diacritics? I searched the listserv archives, but didn't see too much.
A plug-in for dropdown diacritic options would be awesome...like how cataloging software handles it. Otherwise, are people copying and pasting for Word or another program that allows for diacritic input?
