This issue also affects the EAD export (in version 1.0.9, at least), not just the display. Here's a snippet of the first two items from that same list post-export:

<date calendar="gregorian" normal="1869/1949" era="ce">1869-1949</date>

<date calendar="gregorian" era="ce">1888-</date>

Hi Maureen,
Hm, yes, it looks like the show view is escaping the XML entries in the field. This is just an error with the display.
I made a bug ticket here and have a patch that I will commit to be reviewed for the next release.

Subject: [Archivesspace_Users_Group] HTML character entities in ordered lists
Hi all,
I haven't seen anything on the list or in Pivotal Tracker about this yet - let me know if it's already been addressed.
After migrating resource records from AT to ASpace, I noticed that mixed content items in ordered lists are showing as HTML character entities instead of the proper characters on display (see htmlentities.png, attached). Strangely, everything looks fine in edit mode (see editmode.png, attached).
Is this expected?
Thanks,
Maureen
