[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Event type associations with record types

Thanks for the clarification.  From what I can tell, the only events that are available to associate with accessions are those listed in https://www.pivotaltracker.com/s/projects/386247/stories/35064329 and https://www.pivotaltracker.com/s/projects/386247/stories/46849311.  This is problematic for two reasons: 

1) It excludes other relevant events already present in the controlled value list for event_event_type.  The most glaring example is agreement_received.  (Perhaps this is a vestigial event and meant to be replaced by agreement_signed).  But appraisal and assessment might also be useful in an accessioning context.  Who knows what might be useful?

2) Despite my best efforts, I see no way from within the user interface to create new event types for use with accessions.  Here at Yale we have defined 11 additional event types that we need to be able to associate with accession records.  I've created new event_event_type values via the controlled value list interface under system preferences.  I am able to associate those with resources and digital objects, but not with accessions.

It is critical for us to be able to extend the events associated with accessions.  The simplest solution would be to make all of the event types available to all of the record types.  The most granular solution would be to allow users to choose whether or not to associate any given event type with any given record type.  The former would be an acceptable short term solution but I think the latter would be a preferable long term goal.

I've noticed two other related oddities that I think relate to https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/61207810: 

3) In the "Create Value" popup within Controlled Value List interface it gives an option to define a new Value, but not a Translation.  For example, I created an event value of "authorization_received".  In the event_event_type list it then shows "authorization_received" as both the value and the translation.

4) Consequently, when I add an event to a Resource or Digital Object (though not Accessions because new events are excluded) the enum list of possible events includes the following "translation missing: en.enumerations.event_event_type.authorization_received".

Hello,

I'm reviewing the available event type values for both accessions and resources.

As far as I can tell, all of the available event types are available for association with resources and digital objects, but only six values (Acknowledgment Sent, Agreement Signed, Agreement Sent, Cataloged, Copyright Transfer, and Processed) are available for association with accessions.  Is this by design or a bug?  If by design, how can we specify which event types may be associated with a given record type?
