As of yesterday, we have a signed employment commitment letter in hand. Chris Fitzpatrick will join ArchivesSpace on Monday, 11/30, and will work remotely, reporting to Brad. Brad will share this information with the steering group but in the interim, I’m asking you to keep this bit of info to yourself until we have confirmation that he’s told all necessary parties on his end. Once we do, we’ll make an announcement and put it on the [new] website too. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I know we have much to do, including some development meetings with HM as a part of the new grant. I hope those can take place in Jan (not sure anyone can make December happen with the development which will be underway) but with the international flights involved for a chunk of that group, those will have to be planned out pretty well in advance.
