*         Progress on release blockers:

o   Locations module


HM completed globalization of location records last Thursday, 8/29, and Mark built and released new version by over the weekend.  Version is 1.0.0RC1.


o   Migration tools

Archivists' Toolkit


*         Nathan released new version of the AT migration script, adjusted to changes reflected in 1.0.0. RCI.  The script has been distributed to 4 institutions testing the migration tool


*         Brad and Nathan have scheduled a review for next Friday, 9/13, to go over test results, migration map, and migration guidelines.  The intention is this review will lead to release of the Beta version of the tool

Archon


*         Chris reported on 9/4 that Brian H. and he continue to make progress refining the Archon migration tool.


o   Authentication


*         Much of the call was spent discussing this need.  Robin is drafting a message to PIs indicating the options for authentication, suggesting option to be provided by HM over others, and requesting approval.  She will share the message with steering committee members as an FYI.

Implementation requested for steering committee list, now in action.  Please use for ongoing communications among the steering committee.
