Please see Robin's message below announcing that Chris Fitzpatrick has officially accepted the position as the ArchivesSpace  developer, starting Monday, December 2.

This is a big milestone for the ArchivesSpace program.  We are fortunate to hire Chris and we expect him to contribute substantially to the program and help expedite our progress.

Gentlemen,
I wanted to express my thanks for all of your time and effort related to the ArchivesSpace Developer.  As of yesterday, we have a signed employment commitment letter in hand.  Chris Fitzpatrick will join ArchivesSpace on Monday, 11/30, and will work remotely, reporting to Brad.  Brad will share this information with the steering group but in the interim, I'm asking you to keep this bit of info to yourself until we have confirmation that he's told all necessary parties on his end.  Once we do, we'll make an announcement and put it on the [new] website too.

I know we have much to do, including some development meetings with HM as a part of the new grant.  I hope those can take place in Jan (not sure anyone can make December happen with the development which will be underway) but with the international flights involved for a chunk of that group, those will have to be planned out pretty well in advance.  I know Brad will be in touch as we work through the needs of the new grant, as well as the development chunks.
